Weekend Fun!

We had a great weekend! Saturday we took the boys to Planet Kid. The boys had a blast! Noah went non-stop the entire time we were there. Cooper loved the ball pit...he thought it was hilarious to "swim" in them!

Happy Easter! We had a big family dinner at our house today. The boys were super excited to play with their cousin Mya.

Of course, the Easter bunny paying a visit was pretty high on their list too!

Noah was very excited by all the Spiderman items the Easter bunny left, but I think the Mr. Potato Head dressed as the Easter bunny he received from Aunt Jenny was the hit of the day!!

Where's Cooper??

Cooper loves to play hide-n-seek. Tonight while I was making dinner Cooper found a new hiding spot... what a cutie!

Crap...it's Crupe...

So, I was so happy that Cooper had avoided all the crud that Mike, Noah & I had. I even knocked on wood! Apparently, it was fake wood! Cooper woke up from his nap yesterday with a nasty yucky cough. I took him to the pediatrician yesterday and sure enough...crupe! The Doctor gave him oral steroids and directions to give him lots of rest. I hope he is feeling tons better by Friday when we head to Garden Valley...where is some real wood??

Bye Bye Baby!

So Cooper had his 2nd hair cut this weekend. His 1st hair cut was less than successful...he cried & cried & cried! This go around was MUCH better! He had a lollipop and was happy as a clam! He SO doesn't look like a baby anymore! He and Noah look so much alike now!! It makes me sad to realize how fast my baby is growing up. Pretty soon he won't be a baby at all!

One of those weeks...

Have you ever had one of those week where you felt you woke up on the wrong side of the bed every morning?? This was that week for me! I don't know what it was, but everything seemed to bug me! (Thanks Kim & Jami for letting me vent!) I am hoping to de-stress this weekend and start fresh on Monday!

Cootie

Do you remember this game? I LOVED it when I was a kid so I bought it for Noah for Christmas. It is not quite as fun as I remembered. It takes forever to roll six 6's to get all your legs! Noah had a blast though! We had family game night the other night and we played cootie. I think our bugs came out pretty cute!

So 5 months is a long time...

That's how long it has been since my last post - 5 months! So, lots of things have happened...I better get you caught up!

We did a minor remodel. We installed bamboo flooring in our living room, kitchen, hallway & master bedroom.

We had new carpet put in the family room and the other 3 bedrooms. We replaced the vinal in the bathrooms and had the whole house repainted.

We also totally redid the fireplace in the living room. It was ugly brick, so we covered it and had storage built in on either side.

I LOVE it! The 2 week project ended up taking over 2 months! There are still a few minor things to finish (touch-ups and such) but for the most part, it is done!

Cooper got his first haircut...he did not enjoy it! He cried the whole time!

Christmas: This holiday season was so much fun with both boys. Noah and I made sugar cookies again this year and my friend Kris & her girls came over to decorate theirs as well. It was really fun. Cooper just ate the cookies! :)

The boys got WAY too many presents! They had a great time though!


Well, that brings us up to now! Here they are 5 months later at 4 1/2 & 17 months...adorable - I know!
